Panasonic DMP-BD65 Blu-Ray Disc PlayerThis Panasonic DMP-BD65 Blu-Ray Disc Player participant is a perfectly fine participant for Blu-Ray discs. Would like to see an even more rapidly eject after power on. Present eject time is close to 5secs.

Time to totally load the menu is predictably lengthy and no greater than the older generation Samsung player it replaces the following (nearly 3min). Also a backlit remote would go a lengthy way in the direction of improvements.

Image high quality is on par with any other Blu-Ray participant except employing Regular Def DVD’s in which the image is worse than your more mature upconverting regular DVD footballer.

That flaw is possibly the cause for only 4 stars but only the Oppo participant is worth the extra price if you want a far better image the following. I like the truth that pause in fact will leave it on pause for a extended time unlike my more mature Samsung Blu-Ray which after 5min essential a full restart.

There is no Netflix or other streaming features but at close to $120. Given that this is my second Blu-Ray player, I do not assume it to last any longer than 2 years which is why spending the least volume tends to make sense. With that becoming mentioned, I bought a Panasonic unit because I believe it is far better than Sony. (more…)

Samsung BD-C6900I bought this Samsung BD-C6900 1080p 3D Blu-ray Disc Player along with the Samsung UN55C8000 Tv and they perform really well together. Setting, such as the wireless world wide web entry, was a snap. The integrated apps and the apps obtainable for download are valuable, specifically Netflix given that we had been previously a client.

Samsung promises a great deal a lot more apps by the finish of the year. I did have a trouble with it accepting a YouTube account. It did at first, and instantly brought up the favorites previously saved on YouTube. However, following a reboot it would no longer acknowledge the account info, even though it does still entry YouTube ok, and I can save favorites utilizing the footballer.

It did acknowledge our Netflix and Pandora account information without having a trouble. The participant has a nice layout, with blue accent lighting that you can turn off if desired. It is also small and light and is very unobtrusive amongst my other components; when the accent lighting is off you hardly even discover it is there. When it is powered on or a DVD is inserted it automatically changes the Tv input to the HDMI port the participant is hooked up to.

I have an HDMI switching AVR, but it does not pass HDMI 1.4 so I connect the DVD footballer directly to the Tv although the rest of my sources go by way of the AVR. I send the players optical seem output to the AVR so I can use the 7.1 surround seem set up. The footballer also has discrete analog audio outputs for all (more…)

I was not sure I liked this movie the first time I saw her. I think this is my first reaction to a series of Spike Lee. The first time I saw this, I was looking for the over-all plans. It would be only part about 3 out of 5 stars. But as a snapshot of black history, I thought this movie was well done. When I (seen in video) for the second time, I was under observation, how to react to very individualized signs blacks against racism in 1940. When was the most centralmy focus of the film takes more than me. (Also interesting: How different groups with different agendas to appeal to God on their side)

If the history of racism and if not, was the story of individuals in a particular situation, as They have the situation (WWII) had. Spike has shown to the Germans as good and evil, how strong and weak, but a few really interested in, back to their daily lives with his wife and children – and some of them onlyThe interest in fame and honor and develop their rank in the army. (I have not seen Clint Eastwood's World War II, compared to the movies: Clint used to give each man a very intimate portrait of the war).

It took some of the great, the common man, the child takes getting used to – but I have for the second time I saw him. The boy, I never got used. It seems an error of casting to me most of the time, but did a good job only small and vulnerablesometimes. Yet something in him is awkward at times – but I got over it.

At the end I would say that I liked the characters and the way it is revealed in history. And that's what Spike Lee movies are all about. This is not usually how you move from A to BC to the end with his films. It 's always about the characters. And I liked and I liked the piece of black history reveals the film. So, mission accomplished.

I bet this story is that the bookimpressive.

Give it a shot – more than one.

Specifications

Every major American filmmaker has a war movie inside them. After the twin triumphs of When the Levees Broke and Inside Man, his biggest box office hit, Spike Lee puts his distinctive stamp on World War II. Though Miracle at St. Anna begins and ends in 1983, most of the action takes place in 1944. The segregation of the time leads to the Army’s African-American 92nd Infantry Division. In Italy, four of these Buffalo Soldiers, Sergeants Stamps (Antwone Fisher‘s Derek Luke) and Bishop (Barbershop‘s Michael Ealy), Corporal Hector (Jarhead‘s Laz Alonso), and sweet, superstitious Private Train (The Express‘s Omar Benson Miller), get separated from their unit while fighting the Germans. On the way to higher ground, Train rescues a boy from the rubble. With nine-year-old Angelo (newcomer Matteo Sciabordi) in tow, the soldiers secure shelter in a Tuscan town, where they band together with the villagers, including lovely English speaker Renata (Artemisia‘s Valentina Cervi), nurse the delusional boy back to health (he has an imaginary playmate named Arturo), and prepare for the next attack. Like Inside Man, Miracle marks one of the few times Lee has drafted an outsider to write the script, in this case bestselling author James McBride, who adapts from his novel. The combination of sensibilities results in a film that alternates, sometimes awkwardly, between cynicism and sentimentality. Tonal irregularities aside, Miracle at St. Anna pays overdue tribute to the 15,000 men who fought for freedom in a country that showed them greater respect than their nation of origin. –Kathleen C. DISAPPOINTING – Bambi Shangri-La – Phoenix, AZ USA
Spike Lee is one of our best directors generation. However, if you attack an ambitious theme, which seems to "produce". Here directs screenplay by James McBride on the contribution of the brave African-American soldiers in World War II, which was by all contemporary directors from John Ford to Clint Eastwood neglected. Lee's foray into epic war film, unfortunately going back. The opening scene was unexpected and powerful, so I think something really excitingwould follow. NOT! The lack of character development and intricate plots do not always make sense for these four soldiers of the all-black 92nd Infantry Division closed in a village in Tuscany with the Germans in The shots are taken outdoors and the soundtrack features the lush ' emotion and pathos are not in dialogue and action. The benefits are lost as in a movie almost entirely in Italian or German, with subtitles! It 'hard enough to follow along without readingDialogue. Derek Luke, Michael Ealy and Laz Alonso are excellent in their function, the thin parts. However, Omar Benson Miller is miscast in a central role as Forrest Whitaker aspiring singer who talks like players. His clumsy teddy-shuffle along quickly act on the nerves got to me. I also lost all her eyelids and Kerry Washington! While I appreciate and respect what Lee is trying to do here, as an African-American, I am deeply impressed by the stereotypes presented offended dish – a teaching of a soldieryoung Italian boy "High Five" while another popular "Forbidden Fruit" (white women), combined with Miller & shuck'n jive'n Holy Spirit to act. " The chaos of 166 minutes is an hour too long. With some clever cutting and better character development, "Miracle at St. Anna" could be a work of historical importance, being both entertaining and informative. As it seems now, it's a great cure for insomnia.

GREAT MOVIE BUT ALL THE SUBTITLES KILLED IT!!! – Dee Harrison – Richmond, VA USA
Miracle at St. Anna I thought was a really good movie. The thing that killed me for the subtitles! If I see a movie I want to see and read! I saw the movie twice: the first time I saw the second time I had to read to fully understand what the hell was going on in the movie! There were only a few subtitles, it would be ok, but the film is full of them because of the different languages that needed to be translated!
Apart from that it wasa really good movie!

Typical R-rated fare GGW. Some pretty girl in beautiful scenes.First flashing sequence is about 4 girls (nice ones) in the back of a minivan Have a blast trying to get between them and with some success in it. Not much eroticism in it, but I had to look like fun, how did they understand that only it.Several sequences in which, if the girl works with her hand in her panties for the camera is directly on the stage shows his movement fingers through their fingers. When the panties comeWhen viewing camera is never far below the blonde naval. One skin on the back of a limousine. It is the hand in his underwear bit 'with the camera right there and then pulls her panties and goes and comes from themselves and never see a thing until his whole body and then gets a quickie look at the object attention. The same scene is (Hottest Girl in America), Vol # 4 in that one sees a lot 'more action with the camera filming the action with an explicit set of aFoot close-ups as they themselves fall into each of three different positions. A good show with a doll 19 year old blonde.
I discovered that most of the measures in its explicit DVD, which comes in a series such as Girl Power Run, Spring Break series, Horny School Girls, etc., except those of series 2009 and 2009 contain Platinmum Sex Starved both series most of the repetitions of scenes already old DVDs and most out.The worked with a lot of Hot Stuff onlypositive aspect was the four girls in the minivan this funny thing.
Not one of my favorites.

Not so fantastic – D. J. Nardi – Washington, DC
I really hoped this film would be similar to the X-Men Trilogy (X-Men / X2 – X-Men United / X-Men – The Last Stand), which I thought was a model of how a comic book into a movie . transform

Unfortunately, Fantastic Four is a bit 'flat. The casting is part of the problem. I thought Chris Evans was funny, like Johnny "Torch". But Jessica Alba as a scientist? I'm sorry, is that your casting against type that does not exist. There is no act or emotional depth. The film triesAdd some 'morality with Ben Grimm (Michael Chiklis), but it seems only superficially (one of the silly orange costume does not help).

The real problem is Julian McMahon as Victor Von Doom. I have always said, a good movie needs a bad convincing. Von Doom is simply a horrible, bad surface. His motive seems to only need more power – so boring and cliche. Cornies also some lines in the film. For example, during the middle of the climactic battle scene, in whichJessica Alba zap with lightning, says: "Susan, you're fired!" This really breaks the mood and tension of the scene.

Fantastic Four is likely to be seen once, if you like action movies, but this is not a guard.

Overall, the Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer is better than its predecessor. The acting, effects and plot are all a step forward. The film sits down to discuss the most memorable and emotionally touching scenes (like Ben and Johnny at a barHow they spend their last minutes, Ben scare the bear …).

I'm not crazy like Julian McMahon as Van Doom – and says Corny lines in the middle of battles – but it is so central to this film. On the other hand, the Silver Surfer makes a bad lot better – mysterious, cold and powerful. I like the term – a bit 'in the Earth Stood Still (Special Edition with two discs).

I still do not think quite as good as the trilogy of X-Men, butFantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer is at least not as carefree an effort.

Just a note to the public concerned: There are some sexual references in movies. You can fly directly over the head of most children, but perhaps worthy of note.

First, I write this from a "traditional" American POV. I am a big fan of cinema, and although thuroughly enjoy foreign films, I can be critical to take the smaller problems so that the light on the display of four stars.
The game was very good.
The director / production was excellent.
The CG elements were done very well.
The only real fall of film in my head is that there is only so much war and fighting. I found myself saying, "to fight?" andFoot in the kitchen for a soda without concern for the missing goods.
I said: "It would be a great movie for guys who play RTS games. I do not.
Best traditional Chinese opera to American movies are so if you are in the style of the film, enjoy. I found the "behind the scenes" very interesting, which explains the story behind this story and the school now that children come to know this story.
SoI give it 4 stars vs. 5 because only address a select audience.

Overview

RED CLIFF is the epic historical drama based on a legendary 208 A.D. battle that heralded the end of the Han Dynasty. A power-hungry Prime Minister-turned-General Cao Cao seeks permission from the Han Dynasty Emperor to organize a southward-bound mission designed to crush the two troublesome warlords who stand in his way, Liu Bei and Sun Quan. Vastly outnumbered by Cao Cao’s brutal, fast-approaching army, the warlords band together to mount a heroic campaign – unrivaled in history – that changes the face of China forever.

Specifications

Director John Woo’s Red Cliff boasts some mighty impressive numbers. It took four screenwriters to adapt the 800,000-word source material, a 14th-century Chinese novel called Romance of the Three Kingdoms. There are also three editors, two directors of photography, hundreds of horses, and a combined cast and crew numbering in the thousands, making it reportedly the most expensive movie ever made in China. There are quite a few minutes, too, as it has a running time of 2 hours 28 minutes. That’s only about half the length of the cut released in Asia, a fact that has led some critics to dismiss the American release as merely a bowdlerized version of the real deal. That may be, but this depiction of the titular battle that took place in AD 208 and is credited with changing the entire face of China is still an epic and magnificent piece of entertainment. The principal characters include Cao Cao (Zhang Fengyi), a power-hungry general and self-appointed prime minister who convinces the weak-willed emperor that two rebellious leaders in the south, Liu Bei (You Yong) and Sun Quan (Chang Chen), must be stopped; Cao Cao’s antagonists also include the brilliant strategist Zhuge Liang (Takeshi Kaneshiro) and the heroic warrior Zhou Yu (Tony Leung), whose wife (Chiling Lin) is a legendary beauty. Cao Cao has a huge advantage in manpower, not to mention an impressive fleet of warships. But he is arrogant, while his opponents are not merely humble and brave but clever (Cao Cao’s diabolical plan to send the contagious bodies of soldiers who have died from typhoid fever to the Southlanders’ camp works temporarily, but the latter counter with ingenious strategies of their own, like using fog, wind, and fire to destroy Cao Cao’s ships). All of this is depicted in the most spectacular battles scenes since the Lord of the Rings trilogy, with a steady supply of gorgeous shots and indelible images. Woo, whose previous films range from the terrific Hard Boiled and The Killer to the lamentable Ben Affleck thriller Paycheck, is in his element here, and Red Cliff is a treat. –Sam Graham

So to say one more chance for Charlton Heston: "Oh my God!" I do not think the film deserves 5 stars, and considering how many places are for the film are already here, the thing I most of this film that I got that focus guests.

I am a composer, and I still remember as a young man this score was a revelation for me. Jerry Goldsmith has shown that a score to a film that was completely "right" to write from start to finish, and another"Sound", which can be identified. It 'was at this point, and remains to this day, my favorite film composers. While atonal music sounds a bit about this film now 'and dated "effecty" (it was 1968 after all) was in the right place for the film.

The number of films that he composed the music for themselves is breathtaking (see Wikipedia), and is probably the most these days for his Star Trek scores, which start with my thoughts were not known at its best – haswere conducive to the neo-romantic John Williams score that was the sound of science fiction – Strauss, Wagner, etc. (you can usually identify a score by John Williams, especially since he defined as new sounds all the great Romantic composers without actually one of them.)

But the vast majority of films he made were not science fiction or fantasy: A Patch of Blue (1965), The Boys from Brazil (1978), Basic Instinct (1992), and many others.

Many early science fiction films are now, quite inadvertently (and in most cases undeservedly), objects of camp attention: we laugh at the silly makeup, tin-can special effects, and the naive “high-tech” dialogue. Planet of the Apes is no such film. Its intelligent script, frightening costuming, and savagely effective conclusion (which needs no big-budget special effects to augment its impact) remain both potent and relevant. When Colonel George Taylor (the fabulous Charlton Heston) crash lands his spacecraft on what seems to be an unfamiliar planet, he is captured and held prisoner by a dominant race of hyperrational, articulate apes. However, the ape community is riven with internal dissention, centered in no small part on its policy toward humans, who, on this planet, are treated as mindless animals. Befriended and ultimately assisted by the more liberal simians, Taylor escapes–only to find a more terrifying obstacle confronting his return home. Heavy-handed object lessons abound–the ubiquity of generational warfare, the inflexibility of dogma, the cruelty of prejudice–and the didactic fingerprints of Rod Serling are very much in evidence here. But director Franklin Schaffner has a dark, pop-apocalyptic sci-fi vision all his own, and time has not dulled the monumental emotional impact of the film’s climactic payoff shot. If you don’t know what I’m talking about here, you owe it to yourself to check out this stone classic, and even if you do, see it with fresh eyes; and don’t be surprised if you get the chills all over again… and again… and again. –Miles Bethany

Blue Ray Movies :Dude Where’s My Car [Blu-Ray] Review

The fact that this film is a kind of funny to me a bit 'of terror. And 'one of those movies that is so horrible, repetitive and ridiculous, yet so absurdly over-the-top can not be done unless completely immersed in his stupidity.

It 's funny, no ifs or buts.

The film plot, if scandalous. Two children named Slacker Stoner Jesse and Chester (I always liked that name for some reason) to wake up totally blind to the events of the previous night. When he walks out to find JesseMissing car began an adventure to find, which leads them to foreigners and ostriches (Err, blade) and giant chicks in bikinis.

I can not believe I give this movie a B-!

With a ridiculous scene after another, "Dude, Where's My Car? Art is solidified as one of the stupidest movie I've ever seen, but it is almost worse, because in all its absurdity, he knows what he is trying to do and does it well. Are not really a fan ofAshton Kutcher and Seann William Scott (Scott was "role models", but I find his "American Pie stint greatly overestimated fun), but they sell the character dumb-looking very good here. The endless assault of some the best it can be a bit 'annoying (the tattoo scene together, most quotable, but is also the most hated), but then again, in times of repetition is what makes it so funny (Chinese unit through each scene leads me sometimes).

If you like intelligent, funny, away from this movie … but if its fun, like to enjoy a pop.

And then …

Overview

Meet Jesse (Ashton Kutcher, TV’s “That ’70′s Show”) and Chester (Seann William Scott, American Pie), two dimwitted yet lovable party animals who wake up one morning with a burning question: Dude, Where’s My Car? Their only clues are a matchbook cover from Kitty Kat strip club an a year’s supply of pudding in the fridge. As they retrace their steps, these dudes are in for the ride of their lives, encountering hot alien chicks, dodging killer ostriches, and trying to score “special treats” from their ticked-off twin girlfriends. It’s an outrageously sweeeeeet comedy adventure that’s “totally entertaining all the way through… totally!”

Specifications

Sometimes, stupidity is its own reward. Dude, Where’s My Car? is one of the most ridiculous movies ever made–so ridiculous, and so thoroughly cheerful about being ridiculous, that it’s thoroughly entertaining. Jesse and Chester (Ashton Kutcher and Seann William Scott) wake up one morning with absolutely no memory of the night before, but they’re confident they must have had a good time. An irate phone call from their girlfriends quickly makes it clear that they may have had too much of a good time, and will be branded as sucky boyfriends unless they set things right. The boys set out to get the anniversary gifts they have for the girls in Jesse’s car… only Jesse’s car seems to be missing. Which of course leads our heroes on a quest, during which they encounter a pot-smoking dog, khaki-wearing cultists, hot chicks from outer space, a cameo by Fabio, and a herd of wild ostriches. Dude, Where’s My Car? lacks the depth of character you might find in, say, a Bill & Ted movie, but the dialogue has an amazing spareness to it that gives it a kind of metaphysical splendor–if absurdist playwright Samuel Beckett had written ludicrous babe & stoner movies, he would have written Dude, Where’s My Car? Also featuring a cameo by Andy Dick and more babes in bikinis than you can count. –Bret Fetzer

During the day they facehot chicks, dorks creepy room, look for the Continuum Transfunctioner money to a transsexual stripper, and more. I have just one question, Dude, Where's My Car?

If you liked it, watch the sequel: “The Hangover” – Ryno – Snellville, GA
In case you have not noticed, The Hangover (unrated Two-Disc Special Edition) is a scam, "Dude Where's My Car." So if you're stupid / dumb humor like, and you liked this, then see the cat. It is practically the same movie. If you do not believe me, Google movie titles, the two together and a video comparing the two College Humor will.

some action – Markku Pihlajaniemi – Finland
This is certainly not get the masterpiece of high quality Oscars and other awards …. but 100% of action with some good fighters.

Surprisingly Good for the MMA Movie Genre – Alexander M. Walker – Chicago, IL USA
Even if they are prepared to regret when a new film sponsored by a militant organization makes its way to moan JustPressPlay door. Either on DVD or Blu-ray is rarely a difference, since it is often done little more than Circle Jerks, to combat the built-in public supporters, nothing is consumed until the subsidiary scenes of violence, brutal and capitalize offer few "Did you see that?" Moments. For this reason, I rue these films. Peerlessmakes me rethink the idea, or at least modify it. This film shows quite well in HD, so time spent on the basic plot and character, why not fly into the ring with his fists.

Ringo Duran (Hector Echavarria) became known as a perennial loser, a fighter by far the best years of his. However, it is an undeserved title as the beginning of the film shows that make the control of Mr Ringo approach to his fights in the cage was often the victim of hunters intentnegligent abuse of the referee. Our first meeting in the movie to love Forrest Griffin (character), the destruction of the life of Ringo always face with a piece of metal hidden in his fist. Ringo honesty compounds only other fighting probably the most direct obstacle to his success: His left arm was so long ago it was only half as effective as its competitors infringed. These factors make the circuit of a stranger – but the weakest, which is not really always win. At leastJust a couple of things.

When his dog-dog-esque wizard gambling and is named Ringo in the pool of candidates vying for a place in next round of the amateur tournament, Ringo and everyone else not think you have a chance (though not I know Ringo did, and 'was added). The "price" of the tournament is to combat the possibility of head to head with "pressure" is the flagship of the League and are the reigning champion. As I said, no one has the RingoAbility to pick up – but if he does, his career take a breath of fresh air. At the same time, collect Ringo relationship with his fiancee strip-club manager (starting at some point as a nurse) trained. The advantage of this report, opens his shoulder at his post, he had a real threat of competition, a fact that nobody expected.

Every game in this tournament offers a new obstacle left before Ringo led to success. Both "The Pressure" andRingo bookmaker, which is $ 20,000, are losing the draw for our hero. To achieve this, while some serious bank makes a bet that the fighting rig. Or at least try. The film is overwhelming message of fighting with honor and to see all the obstacles or move involved than anyone realizes what they are doing is wrong.

Visually, the film appears. The fight has turned very well and it looks incredibly sharp. The battle scenes do not have much to recommendthem, but there is a certain degree of creativity for more action-packed scenes that you do not expect straight. The acting and writing of incomparable leaves something 'to be desired. Echavarria is not terrible, but sometimes he gives us his lines very similar to Van Damme, with a rigid cardboard. Rafael coach Ringo feels like a grumpy Adrian from Rocky, but nothing is trivial to you WinCE, it is all smooth.

Blu-ray Bonus Features

The disc is quitewell equipped with extras. In addition to typical audio commentary with director Warren P. Sonoda, there are interviews with the fighters with Keith Jardine (who gives a decent performance), Rashad Evans, Griffin, and Nate Marquardt. The visual shock of the film is a fighter making-of piece and the choreography of the base and behind the scenes featurette events also.

Unsurpassed voice is surprisingly good in mixed martial arts movie catalog, so if you like the genreIt 's a great choice for you.

Solidly Average MMA Movie – Compay – New Orleans, LA
Unbeatable is what you expect from an action movie straight-to-video. The story is neither original nor exciting, the dialogue is weak, and the fight scenes are just enough for the film afloat.

The only thing that stands out for the film is directed by Warren Sonoda quality. Good film making, editing and lighting ideal for some decent images. The fight can not be distinguished choreagraphy. They usually are treated to stand-up punching a couple of kicks, and virtually no excavation until the end of the film. All struggles against Hard Rock, which works perfectly for a soundtrack in September

Hector Echavarria has a terrible job as acting aging Cage Fighter Ringo Duran. And not to forget 'strange to see a guy that a welterweight in the UFC is a spanking is too light heavyweight as Rashad Evans and Keith Jardine. Only three or four cast members have no real cinematic experience, even in Al Sapienza (Mikey Palmice 'sSopranos).

Conveniently Ringo Duran second job in a strip club, so there is a lot 'of nudity in the film. Jordan Madley is painfully hot as love interest Kara Ringo as Ashleigh Hubbard as poetry spouting Pole Dancer Pepper. But despite the heat and women cage matches, the film is predictable and yet not particularly exciting. Bring a rent before deciding to buy the DVD.
