Blue Ray Player  Pioneer BDP-120

I bought this as the BDP-121, a player is identical to the 120 sold in Canada and the United States are from stock, for $ 150 from CompUSA.com. Do not come with a reader 121 for 1 GB of flash. He refused to play until 11/24/09 Pioneer 120/121 firmware update for Disney's Snow White BD, but now it does. But I'm still problems of access to Disney's BD-Live player, although I read Warner, Paramount and Sony BD-Live. (Each requires separate registration from the way in which it could be.) PresentDisney is a problem. For me, there's little to complain about the 120/121. The remote control is 50% longer than most, but everything works as it should. The BDP-120 for sale here, a 1 GB flash memory stick required, which will be BD-Live. If you need to update the firmware, available here: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Products/HomeEntertainment/Blu-rayDisc+DVD/PioneerBlu-rayDiscPlayers/ci.BDP-120.Kuro?tab=F

PIONEER… is the best. – Casey D. Krull – Enumclaw, WA USA
I read all the reviews of others and has come to my conclusion … I just wanted to Pioneer:) I used a lot lately. Terminator Salvation, The Dark Knight, T2, Superman, The Last Starfighter … All AMA-ZA-ZING in Blu-Ray!

The player itself is a breeze. Getting set-up is very simple. The tray will not open when opening bell … It opens well:) The keys are not fragile … are the buttons), and the lighting is quite good … I can read everything easily. The conrollercould be a zoom … but that is all, otherwise it is easy to use and operates automatically on the screen. Some Blu-ray is just start up, but like most of the players … It takes a while;) T2 Blu-ray will begin as soon as my normal DVD … ssshhhhhhhhhhh … It 'a secret;) Sun Aall in all … This Pioneer Blu-ray is awesome!

Dose what I want well. Neat looking player – CJess “gadget guy” – Ky USA
I think this is a really nice looking player, is the dose that I want and that is really good product, great HD picture, starting with a few bells and whistles for a good price.

A nice player I am pleased with – Charles & Ingrid –
The BR is a good player, he said. Sure to change the setting to 1080 if you have an HDTV. Out of the box is set for 480th resolution standard TV. Very simple, the menus and change immediately. Standard DVD is even better. Phonetically, I do not know as it sounds, because my high-end speakers in the tower are only at the moment because of a small child brought home. Are only some small bookshelf speakers, for the moment. I could judge better if Ihas been with the towers. The menus are easy to navigate and Blu-rays look great. I would buy this player again without hesitation.

Blue Ray Movies  Fast Company [Blu-ray]

Fast Company is an anomaly in the filmography of David Cronenberg. Introverted and his obsession with the dark background of sexual psychology, but this is a Flick Easy Car. Do not expect to crash. A / V is good for this lost film.

But the integration of its two first experimental films to make this a must for fans of Cronenberg.

  • FAST COMPANY BLU-RAY (BLU-RAY DISC)

Overview

The Legendary Drive-In Classic from the Director of THE FLY, SCANNERS and A HISTORY OF VIOLENCE

In between his horror hits RABID and THE BROOD, award-winning director David Cronenberg immersed himself in the gritty world of top-fuel dragsters to make what he considers to be one of the most important movies of his entire career. Genre icons William Smith (RED DAWN, MANIAC COP), John Saxon (ENTER THE DRAGON, A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET) and drive-in goddess Claudia Jennings (in her final role before her tragic death) star in this surprising story of a corporate-sponsored racing team and the explosive obsessions that speed them through lives of fast cars, fast cash and FAST COMPANY.

Due to a mysterious distribution snafu, FAST COMPANY was barely released in America and has remained virtually unseen anywhere in the world. Blue Underground is proud to present this action-packed drama in High Definition, transferred under the supervision of cinematographer Mark Irwin (SCREAM, VIDEODROME), remixed in room-rattling 7.1 DTS-HD and 7.1 Dolby TrueHD, and packed with nitro-burning Extras, including Cronenberg’s two fascinating – and equally rare – early features, STEREO and CRIMES OF THE FUTURE.

EXTRAS:
Audio Commentary with Co-Writer/Director David Cronenberg
“Inside the Character Actor’s Studio” – Interviews with Stars William Smith and John Saxon
“Shooting Cronenberg” – Interview with Director of Photography Mark Irwin
Theatrical Trailer
The Early Films of David Cronenberg: STEREO and CRIMES OF THE FUTURE

Wolves BluRay – ample computers – Houston TX USA
This movie was absolutely terrible. For most of the film, what you see in a small window in the middle of the screen with a background image fills the rest of the TV. My husband did not even watch face. E 'was boring and almost no wolves.

False Advertising – Maciej Zoltek – Winnipeg, MB Canada
I expected that this is a high quality nature of the film also shot the planet Earth. Imax has disappointed me very much. At best, the quality is not very big and does not seem as good as nature films as recorded on high quality equipment.

Even if you expect this DVD called "wolves" to anything even remotely relating to registration with the wolves in it you will be disappointed. This film is a documentary on violence in Aboriginal culture. There are about 4 minutes of actualShooting of wolves in the wild.

It would be better to look at a statue of a wolf, if you learn about wolves, rather than seeing the painfully bad "wolf documentary Hope served

Disapointed – IM A DEREK – MANKATO,MN USA
I bought this in hopes that the documentary would be a good wolf. But unfortunately, the function does not look nice. The director tries a lot of things in his 40 minutes or so at runtime. You see a pack of wolves are working to raise the puppies, and even a scene of wolves chasing their prey. I would have liked it to be a result of a pack of wolves.

I have had nothing but problems with this unit since I bought it and that will only get worse with time. I was finally able to get a firmware update from Samsung for 1400, will, after months, not in a position to something new. Now that I've upgraded the firmware, do not watch anything I CAN, OLD! I just upgrade the firmware 090,803 and are only able to play Blu-Ray. Everything else will be spat out as not carried out. Even if it works, it takes forever to load movies and oftenjust not in the middle of a movie. DO NOT BUY this unit. From what I've read, it is better to buy a single PS3.

Blue Ray Movies  King of California [Blu-ray]

I really loved the movie. The story and the performances were funny and touching. What I found interesting is the fact that it is really more a story is told. The most obvious of the most tense comic (sometimes) the relationship between a father "Crazy" and her daughter. 2. The story was a bit 'thinner, and that the state of California fall from grace has been.

Michael Douglas character 'in search of treasure of gold in the Golden State. And 'the dreamCalling California. The journal of the Spanish explorer Father Juan Garces Flori Smart describes a country wild, beautiful and full of fascinating possibilities, as we heard of this great country we are treated to scenes of over-development and shopping malls.

The dream was buried and replaced with the secular, yet Crazy Charlie makes his daughter to start believing in this dream, the old California.

Father and daughter meet and realize their dreams andare richer for both, leading to share it, and what they discover.

Great movie! Too bad for what happened is now underway in California, is no longer golden.

  • At the age of sixteen, Miranda (Evan Rachel Wood) has already had to live with her share of disappointments. Abandoned by her mother, she s dropped out of school and has been supporting herself as an employee at McDonald s while her father Charlie (Michael Douglas) resides in a mental institution. When Charlie is released and sent back to their home, Miranda finds the relatively peaceful existe

Overview

After spending several years in a mental institute Charlie (Michael Douglas) is sent home, reuniting with his teenage daughter Miranda (Evan Rachel Wood). Charlie becomes obsessed with the notion that a long-lost Spanish treasure is buried underneath their local suburban California Costco. Disconnected from reality and his daughter’s life, Charlie’s erratic behavior further strains their relationship and completely disrupts her peaceful existence.

Initially skeptical, Miranda soon finds herself joining in Charlie’s questionable antics in an effort to believe in her father and give him one last shot at accomplishing his dreams in this darkly funny, exciting and surprisingly hopeful take on the modern family and the American dream.

Specifications

Michael Douglas is such a great dramatic actor (not to mention villain) that it’s worth remembering what a strong comedic performer he can be (War of the Roses, Romancing the Stone). In King of California, he digs into his offbeat lighter role with relish and vigor. Yet he softens the scene-chewing with appropriate poignancy, given that he’s playing a mentally ill deadbeat who’s essentially left his daughter to raise herself–and him. Douglas plays Charlie, a troubled yet good-humored musician who’s just been released from institutional care. Evan Rachel Wood is his wise-beyond-her-years daughter, Miranda, who pays the bills, keeps house, and even buys a car as an unlicensed 15-year-old. The film examines the bond between troubled dad and grounded teen, and it’s to both actors’ credit that the slight (and slightly incredulous) plot doesn’t diminish the impact of their love or anguish.

Charlie’s convinced a buried Spanish treasure lies beneath the local Costco (one of many companies given costar billing; others include McDonald’s, Petco, Target, and Chuck E. Cheese). The plot follows Charlie’s single-minded, impossible-dream journey, while the world-weary Miranda is resigned to following (“Time to get on that old bipolar pony and ride,” she mutters). But along the way, dad and daughter find true ways to reconnect, and therein lies the true majesty of King of California –A.T. Hurley

Long Live the King… – Kenneth A. Nelson – Pensacola, FL
What a great way to spend a couple of hours. Button's ability to "pause use 'without the threat of death from the rest of the audience a wonderful relief (no pun) is. There is enough story to hold all come back to see more, but at the same Leisure some popcorn, get some ice cream or to use the facilities.

A delightful film with Michael Douglas plays an unexpected role. The film is a dark comedy with warm tones. WatchingAscending father-daughter relationship is more precious than gold, supposidly buried beneath the local Costco, which plans to dig dad.

This is a picture giggling, not to lower the saddle, sort of hysterical comedy, but it will always be entertained, and still able to use the bathroom without danger.

Long Live Michael Douglas … California, Long Live the King!

very watchable – freiwill01 – Greenville, SC
The story is simple, but is built well and not get bored at any point. Evan Rachel practically carried the whole film – an excellent performance. It 'been a bit' I saw Michael Douglas to act convincingly. Not Oscar material, but it looks happy.

A Few Laughs… – Giordano Bruno – Wherever I am, I am.
… and a skilful depiction of a dysfunctional mother-libertarian case, the father in California (with a heart, or perhaps an entire breast) gold. If you have never lived in California, especially Southern, he apologized, you do not need to see, you can sit on a ladder in your backyard and see your neighbors. Otherwise, do not feel too bad for wasting an hour and a half hours on a film, to be as wild as sardonic as the Coen Brothers film aspires, but ends up as succulent as Gidget.

OhYes, the girl, Evan Rachel deserves a second chance at a role. But please, do not pull back as a year early seventeen years!

Video 5 times by movie star, etc. from the story line 5 stars, with the voltage measurement. 5 stars! I love this movie, plays perfectly, is semi-mirror stories Zatoichi.

My only complaint is the timing really lame when selecting English dubbed .. Preference 2 stars .. max!
The dubbing is not really good, the male voice-over readingfromthescript way that is really annoying (woman's voice-over is quite good though, there is a quiet IchiCharacter anyway)

I like the original, and read the subtitles, which are clear and perfect clock, – 5 Stars! They also no longer necessary for the screen when the dialogue is 2 lines. (Note, if you "Cinema" mode on your TV, will be) subtitles harvest.

I liked the movie, and I can get more from Funimation. So yes, the movie itself is a great addition to your collection.

Note: .. This review is for the DVD version, I can only imagine theBlu Ray version is even more beautiful sight!

Overview

Ichi honors the classic tale of the blind samurai while casting the legend in breathtaking new light. In a role traditionally played by men, award-winning actress Haruka Ayase is both tender and brutal.

Beautiful Ichi wanders blindly from village to village, searching for the sightless swordsman who long ago taught her to kill. Her technique is exquisite and explosive, her defenses as impenetrable as the darkness in which she moves. Many along her solitary path are touched – some by the sound of her delicate music, others by the edge of her lethal blade.

Ichi is one of those movies that I referred to tackle for some time. The look, feel, mood, and mythological elements of all the undeniable influence in Asia. Yes, there are principles at stake invincible within that range, the fencing and the elements of action in the foreground. Before watching the great philosophical tones of the picture, let's get the hard facts from the road.

That comes in a 120-minute runtime is Ichi featurehoused on a single disc in a standard DVD clamshell case. The show has a reasonable, if not a bit 'conservative Reserved ® rating from violent images, sword fighting, digital Gore and a healthy dose of character-driven drama.

Language options are typical sub & dub which means both the original Japanese vocal track is present, and (the choice of one or English dub in Dolby 5.1 surround sound present) with the option to run or with English subtitles availableVocal track.

The story, which must be observed in order to fully understand (or for that matter) very much appreciated, so: Ichi, the female incarnation of the legendary blind swordsman Zatoichi is a blind master of the blade itself, and sweeps across the city his shamisen (three-stringed Japanese guitar) in a mission for the people who helped, who find them. Ichi is not a weak, not just discover the evil in the dramatic visual style, and defends himself with a spectacular sword fight over and over again. Shot in a mixture of regular and slow motion segments with the blood gushing wildly digital, the film reflecting the charm of Asian cinema (and quotes some of the most common in the films of Quentin Tarantino as a tribute mind "Kill Bill").

As the prose designed to increase, so that the vote to win with Ichithe company of a young traveling partner, despite the fact that they are challenging the sword much better. Haruka Ayase seems to power Ichi heavily on the expectations of the public comes out in the film. I found them to be convincing enough, and somewhat 'proud, despite her ragged clothes, but it seems as though fans of authentic Japanese Shintaro Katsu television incarnation of the myth are rather divided on the choice of casting.

Bad, as for parOf course in these situations are a bit 'over the limit, in my opinion (Shido Nakamura in particular). But while this may be a great American film critics in a big budget, the Japanese have a habit not credible to incredible gritty atmosphere and dialogue, to simplify explanations of character.

Places and photography are particularly noteworthy for its massive scope, and spectacular views (in particular, some segments of snowSends a chill through even the well-packed cover Viewer).

The disadvantage is that this is not simply a piece of Asian cinema, which capture and hold the attention of a casual observer. The pace and the press are often a bit 'stuck on himself, he sighs with an excess of moments of silent reflection, thoughtful, and artistic design. In most cases, everything works, but there will always put a little rhythm, after the change in the course (in particularviewers who fast-cut way of contemporary American cinema usual).

The sound score is perhaps the biggest surprise, with some really nice buttons, which go a long way in complementing the bizarre backgrounds.

In all, it works best when the image as a visually striking break in a fairly historically accurate. Delve too deeply into the myth seems to show the symptoms in many forms, and the cast is a bit 'too inconsistent to winmasses. Perhaps those complaints is sound harsh, but the truth of the matter that it takes a lot of fun here until you allow the expectations of greatness buried.

Three essays place in a small hut in a small town, 2000 years ago. Looking for the Messiah, and they come with gifts … but only a small mistake and give them a Savior who did not, Brian is born on the same day that is the case, only through the alley that Jesus fella. Brian is growing quite blind, and apolitical Mama's Boy, but unfortunately with less concern for the stoning, as it should be. Oh, bring events to work with him, the Popular FrontJudea who tried to kidnap the wife of Pilate, accidental prophet hood and, finally, the crucifixion, the melody of "Always On The Bright Side of looking at life."

The conventional wisdom of the life of Brian is that Python crew, the most polished, "or" competent "Film as a team, and I probably with that, however, I find more fun in agreement Holy Grail. It 'still Scattershot and a bit 'inconsistent, of course – for my part I found the whole Pilate / Biggus Dickus something a bit' too long, and foreignersAbduction, when in fact they add fun to do something besides giving Terry Gilliam more – but it's really like a touch of moderately coherent film, and, of course, assumes the typical Python over-the-top methods to attack the Organized religion, at some point, all but the most humor challenged Christians to be able to admit at least a small smile on – is a bit 'more pointed and narrow in its humor. Of course, the film is not really anti-Christian or anti-Semitic, but anti-stupid.Perhaps the biggest problem was with some of the public ….

Early highlights include the stoning scene and the scene with the ex-lepers, but when the film really starts in my head, when Brian was a prophet accidental. It seems to be channeling or tears in the first "Holy Grail" – Smart, articulate Brian idiot completely misunderstood by farmers, as well as studying film Bedevere former president of the witch – but the brilliance in which Briango quickly from being just another of the furry prophets Crazy (of course, recalls the corner Schreier also follow today) for everything from a senseless mass is surprising and difficult to describe to me. I think this may be the tip of a play on words of the pythons and the fact that it foreshadowed in the opening scene in which Brian and the others listen the true Messiah, but misinterpreted his words only added to the wild cherry on the cake. If this is a message of "Life of Brian is that peoplewill hear what they want to hear, and sometimes, no matter how clearly have you believe, you can not get through them – especially when the ways of God

Overview

On a Midnight Clear 2000 years ago, three wise men enter a manger where a babe is wrapped in swaddling clothes. It is an infant called Brian…and the three wise men are in the wrong manger. For the rest of his life, Brian (Graham Chapman) finds himself regarded as something of a Messiah, yet he’s always in the shadow of this Other Guy from Galilee. Brian is witness to the Sermon of the Mount, but his seat is in such a bad location that he can’t hear any of it (“Blessed are the cheesemakers?”). Ultimately he is brought before Pontius Pilate and sentenced to crucifixion, which takes place at that crowded, non-exclusive execution site a few blocks shy of Calvary. Rather than utter the Last Six Words, Brian leads his fellow crucifixees in a spirited rendition of a British music hall cheer-up song “Always Look On The Bright Side of Life.” The whole Monty Python gang (Chapman, John Cleese, Michael Palin, Eric Idle, and Terry Gilliam) are on hand in multiple roles, playing such sacred characters as Stan Called Loretta, Deadly Dirk, Casts the First Stone, and Intensely Dull Youth; also showing up are Goon Show veteran Spike Milligan and a Liverpool musician named George Harrison.

Specifications

“Blessed are the cheesemakers,” a wise man once said. Or maybe not. But the point is Monty Python’s Life of Brian is a religious satire that does not target specific religions or religious leaders (like, say, Jesus of Nazareth). Instead, it pokes fun at the mindless and fanatical among their followers–it’s an attack on religious zealotry and hypocrisy–things that that fellow from Nazareth didn’t particularly care for either. Nevertheless, at the time of its release in 1979, those who hadn’t seen it considered it to be quite “controversial.” Life of Brian, you see, is about a chap named Brian (Graham Chapman) born December 25 in a hovel not far from a soon-to-be-famous Bethlehem manger. Brian is mistaken for the messiah and therefore manipulated, abused, and exploited by various religious and political factions. And it’s really, really funny. Particularly memorable bits include the brassy Shirley Bassey/James Bond-like title song; the bitter rivalry between the anti-Roman resistance groups, the Judean People’s Front and the People’s Front of Judea; Michael Palin’s turn as a lisping, risible Pontius Pilate; Brian urging a throng of false-idol worshippers to think for themselves–to which they reply en masse “Yes, we must think for ourselves!”; the fact that everything Brian does, including losing his sandal in an attempt to flee these wackos, is interpreted as “a sign.” Life of Brian is not only one of Monty Python’s funniest achievements, it’s also the group’s sharpest and smartest sustained satire. Blessed are the Pythons. –Jim Emerson

Many years later, I was disappointed that approach does not assume the task of the release of Life of Brian on Blu-ray, making it by Sony. Now that we finally jumped on the train Blu-ray, I decided, pick up the new disc. All I can say is, wow. This completely blowsCriterion DVD of the water. This is a crystal clear transmission, while the Criterion version has many scratches, stains, dirt, and this until the image. I had no idea that this film could look good. Most of the bonus features have been moved, and there is a new retrospective featurette with interviews of all the pythons live, so goodbye to my old way DVD was a piece of cake. To make it even better, the Blu-ray on the market for half the price of the Criterion DVD. If youFeel free to all, double-dip on this, I strongly recommend.

even better the second time around – N. J. Pazar – Chicago, IL
Even funnier the first time I saw this movie years ago. Classic Python humor – never gets old. Also turned my children instead.

Python review/heavy handed mail carriers – Andy J. Patterson – Dallas
Although I do not think the fault lies with the person I bought it from, I find my DVD case, have a hole in it, as if someone came from the post on them. And I mean hard. Fortunately, the disc has been damaged and it's all good. Thanks again. Love Monty Python.

Favorite Monty Python Movie – J. Blair – New York
Of all the movies of Monty Python, I think, "Life of Brian" is overshadowed by the Holy Grail. I watched this video many times and still cracks me up everytime.

Saw V To be honest I did a little 'disappointed it was not horrible, it's just that the others were better, in my opinion. I am still interested in Saw, and I wanted the neighbor that does not make it a waste of time to see. Saw VI has brought back my hope and I must say, is probably the best movie I saw from Saw Saw III. The story is compelling, and this time she really had something great success. William Easton is an employee of a health insurance plan,Decision is important for people's lives, if you have insurance, which had a big impact. The only problem is that he have the money to make decisions that may not her heart. Hoffman meets Jigsaw's ex-wife Jill is an important event in this film, that is. From the beginning, you know that you are in for a treat, as the opening event of the sick and freaky to me, and I do not want it any other way out of a movie Saw. Some questions will be answered in this, you get to seewhat in the puzzle box to the left for Jill in the previous film. The traps did not disappoint this time is, in fact, the carousel was executed very well and has become one of my favorite traps. Almost everything in Saw VI is great, I thought the actors were better this time, Peter Outbridge William Easton, the main victim was great and I cared about him. The end was excellent and I was asking for more.

If you read this, not as a fan, then why areYou? There were seen six films Saw now, and you are obviously only here to send comments like "Why do we need another movie seen?" and "when will they stop this!" nobody really wants or needs to read anyway. On the other hand, if you like a movie SAW, then you should really watch is by far one of the best films of the franchise and I say, a hardcore fan. After seeing this one I totally forgiven the writers for the 5th and I thought that was probably necessary for Saw V, too. I have my money go with Saw VI, and will definitely buy on DVD. E 'already six films, I still want to play a game? You bet, especially with the voices of Saw VII Made in 3D and this is so good.

Overview

Special Agent Strahm is dead, and Detective Hoffman has emerged as the unchallenged successor to Jigsaw’s legacy. However, when the FBI draws closer to Hoffman, he is forced to set a game into motion, and Jigsaw’s grand scheme is finally understood.

Specifications

The Saw series gains a commendable hint of social conscience with this sixth entry in the gleefully gruesome franchise. That’s not to say that the creators have abandoned the films’ main focus–dealing out hideous punishments for wrongdoers, courtesy its antihero, John Kramer/Jigsaw (Tobin Bell), who remains very dead as of this film–but screenwriters Marcus Dunston and Patrick Melton (who have penned every Saw pic since IV) deserve a note of recognition for pointing Jigsaw’s moral fury at the insurance industry, which is personified by key victim Peter Outerbridge’s oily exec. His decision to deny Kramer an experimental cancer treatment (all told in flashback) lands him and a handful of additional lost souls (all connected, of course) in yet another Rube Goldbergian chamber of horrors overseen by Jigsaw’s acolyte, Detective Hoffman (Costas Mandylor). The improbability of the infernal machines continues to reach hysterical levels here, though the payoffs remain exceptionally gross, especially in the opener, which plays on the Shakespearean “pound of flesh” riff with spectacularly nauseating results. Aside from the insurance angle, there’s little to differentiate Saw VI from its predecessors, and precious less to convince the nonfaithful that the series isn’t spinning its wheels by this point–and based on the film’s tepid opening-weekend box office, audiences may agree–but for Saw die-hards, there’s much bloody business on hand here, and best of all, the promise of another sequel. –Paul Gaita

“You want a chance, I’ll give you a chance” – Larry Abney –
Saw 6 was a big step 4 and 5 Many questions are answered, along with new ones.
Of course, but usually are able to make another period of Saw 1. The first was only the best, and I'm sure many people agree with. History is what it does best, and the result. We hope eventually to learn more about Dr. Gordon from Saw Saw at 7 by the end of the year! But Saw 6 has been great, * spoiler * Hoffman has finally been tested and I can only say …. get what was coming towards him.The story was better than Saw 5, which will contribute to this series. But hope is the last Saw 7. During the interview, said he would tie all the loose ends … Finally, lol. But I recommend Saw 6, I saw another great!

See This SAW! – JJ LoveBeast – The House Beside the Last House on the Edge of Dead End Park
Surprisingly addictive, more cleverly ties loose ends, removes a diversion and provides some of the most brutal traps, delicious Gore and solid performance in the series.
Wrongly ignored in the movies, here are hoping that sales of DVD revenue to offset the low ticket.
Ironically, the sequel to the film that it is a hammer blow at the box office, Paranormal Activity is none other than Kevin Greutert Helmed SAW VI Director.

Why Complain, just don’t go see the movie! – C. Hicks –
I do not understand why people spend so much time, it is about how a company maintains the pressure of the film, people think, too old and worn. Well, if you do not like, do not go see the movie. His point, if you are not welcome, avoiding only the snout and the film, because if you go see the movie is still making money and the company continues to put out more movies, do not go to the cinema and more people are such idiots . You make your life really that muchIt will be difficult for someone you do not like a movie? I loved the first three films, which between 4 and 5 and 6 Rata disappointed completely blown away by one. I watched the series because I wanted to know what happened, what was the plot all on what was the end of the property. 6 ° do you really, 4-5 best films. Its almost like a flash just to the front or Lost on TV, the guard only to find out all the plot twists, so the sucky part of it is that wehad to wait 6 years to find out everything that has happened, instead of taking a period of 3 months just lost a season. However you plan a 7th book. They do not know in which direction this is going to see the 6th Nature of the puzzle completed on what to put in motion in the first 3

Blue Ray Player  Sony BDP-S360

Blue Ray Player  Panasonic DMP-BD30K

Previously I owned a Sony BDP-S300 for over a year, but after reading the many excellent reviews on this car from CNET and Home Theater, I decided to order my Sony and police units that beautiful. So far there is no problem to play BD discs, or standard, and in fact is little 'boot faster than the Sony, but where is the sound quality and image. I was on the rich sound of the instrument when I play "Amadeus, The Director's Cut" in BD enthusiastically to this machine. So far I haveregret my decision on that purchase. And at just under $ 200 – is the theft of a! It is one thing to add that Sony did not, this machine has a memory, when you stop and Turn It Out — if once again be back where you left off — no need to bookmark here!

Overview

Blu-ray means incredible full-HD images, breathtaking sound and 5x the data capacity of DVDs. Now Blu-ray means something else too: an entirely new movie-viewing experience, made possible by Final Standard Profile, which adds features never seen before, like four Picture-in-Picture modes including Enhanced Commentary (from directors and actors), Backstage Pass, Peek Behind the Animation and Audio Mixing. Combining a PHL Reference Chroma Processor with advanced P4HD (Pixel Precision Progressive Processing) imaging technology, UniPhier(R) — the Precise Digital Video processor — reproduces crisp, natural colors that are extremely faithful to the original movie. It does this by up-sampling the color information in decoded video signals, while the super high-speed P4HD up-converts content recorded in 480i/p, 720p or 1080i format to 1080p by correctly generating each pixel according to information drawn from up to 60 surrounding pixels. The image motion of each pixel is then categorized into one of 16 levels, from stationary to super fast. Image quality is further enhanced by Diagonal Processing, which creates smooth, sharp diagonal lines, and 3:2 Pull-Down, which optimizes the processing accordingly for film or video making the images look natural and lifelike. In addition, the DMP-BD30′s HDMI output is Deep Color compatible, with 4,096 steps of gradation for even smoother, finer-quality images that meet Hollywood’s stringent demands, so you can experience movies just the way they were meant to be experienced. With Precise Digital Audio, Blu-ray’s beautiful images are complemented by exceptionally pure, accurate sound thanks to Dolby(R) TrueHD and DTS-HD(TM). UniPhier(R)’s advanced processing capability decodes these audio signals with high precision and outputs them in bitstream form with no degradation. It also brings re-mastering to Blu-ray for the first time, which compensates for data lost during the compression process creating a fuller, richer sound.

WARNING. THIS UNIT STOPPED PLAYING BLUE RAY DISCS AFTER ONLY 18 MONTHS! – Mark D. Maxwell – AZ
If this problem from Google, you'll see that I am not alone. Unit plays regular DVDs fine. Not play Blu Ray on after just 18 months. Call Panasonic – have said the warranty had expired. So now I have a DVD player $ 447.65. Thanks for nothing Panasonic – I Will Never TO BUY ELECTRONICS PANASONIC again. If you only want a Blu Ray for 18-24 months for the purchase of this device. If you find something that will last for your money, a different brand.

great picture – Earl Gertsma –
Slow to load, but once loaded it is a great unit, and all seams to work only occurs when you load the first disk.

A point of contention – Joshua Knechtel – New York, New York USA
I think it's fair to offer my experience with the 30K. I bought my 30K in 07 November, when it was first published direct from Panasonic Direct. The player has started to have major problems playing BR discs from the second disk. I called the support for Pan's, and have tried to update the firmware. Now I did, and did not help at all so I did send it to an authorized repair half the country.

(I was a bit 'annoying, because in fact send me a defectiveUnits, they would ship me a new and gave me my ship back to them and made the repair on their shoulders.)

Then I had to jump through hoops to prove that this was within the first 30 days for owners to approve, because she does not want to repair their own cents. I made a support to the problem in the first 5 days! I had an RMA within 15 days and the rest was related to delays in shipping due to holidays. Finally, they are held and fixed units.

Now I have the device has had a year and a half, less actually work with him. Its broken! Does not recognize the disc, be it Blu-ray or DVD. Shortly before she had given us pain for about a month to talk directly purchased with a plasma-Pan, which, at the same time, both have HDMI-CEC. Wouldsometimes only show a picture of red, and after shutting down and restarting a few times would eventually work. The cable was excluded as a couple, and I also tested on another player tested.

Support for Panasonic has not even responded to my e-mail more than a week.

Caveat emptor! If I go a Blu-ray Oppo, if it is released. Your support is good and the DVD player, which in itself is very good.
