Now do not misunderstand me. This is one of the greatest American films, and then 'gets five stars from me. If you have a cowboy movie Citizen Kane, the game is done. And at the same time, an essay on the immorality of American deeply surversive wide open frontier, the questions systematically every single civic value that can be imagined. Let's not talk around the bush, right? Basically we are looking for in the love story of a convict and a prostitute, which is the exact opposite ofconventional Western. This is destroying the deconstruction of the Western genre, the deliberate efforts of big narratives of Roy Rogers and Hopalong Cassidy. This is a film post-modern designed 50 years ago is unlikely modernisn post came into vogue, very Nietzchean in its devaluation of all values.

Opening: The women of a Western city is kicking off the city of a bitch. And why not? If you are one of those women who want your husbands to do with aProstitute? Remember that there is no cure for syphilis in those days. And worse, women are ugly and stupid presented. Is it really right for them? Funny on the surface, but the evil underneath.

The captain as the leader of a squad of soldiers, horses, responsible for maintaining order in a country's brutal. And yet he is represented asGreen boy, shy and stuttering, almost impotent. Demolished another authority and trampled.
Representative Whiskey: Totally unlikely and helpless! Jew loser of this kind would be eaten alive in the Old West.
Diligence DRIVER: A small number of obese comedy, a boiling pot-bellied clown. Yet, this integration must be a wrong act stupid, stupid because it would not last six months at the border. Not to be trusted. Probably cheat at cards.
THE INDIANS (pardonme), the Indian course take care, but the incompetent, the Indian attack ever staged. If you really want to stop a stagecoach, you just turn the horses. And the prostitutes in a brothel for grabs Tampico move where you can at least have a hot bath. This is the real end of history and not doubt it.

This film is a brilliant end run around the Hollywood-Hays Code and the office. And maybe even John Ford looking for a little 'too hard to do to enjoy the ordinaryPeople that only few people like you and me rule the world. HL Mencken used to preach that everyone has a boob out for himself was. John Ford seems to be saying exactly the same story, and that is why I think it's a bad smell hangs over this film brilliant.

When the first signs coach John Wayne, as "The Ringo Kid, and he cocks his gun in the classic immortal John Ford's Stagecoach, never, and I say, never send a shiver down my spine. This has become one of the performances largest first film to all. Until it is with Harry Lime Orson Welles' by Carol Reed, The Third Man Criterion finally released one of my favorite all-time Western, Blu-Ray no less. Now we hope for a fast versions of Red River, The Searchers(I have the Blu-ray, but it deserves the Criterion treatment) High Noon and Shane. Criterion thank you!

I have some of these tourism "armchair" Blu-rays now seen (as the Living Landscapes HD Hawaii [Blu-ray]). Most are little more than the screen saver, so I had low expectations of all America. Unlike some other guests, previous experience with these tools, products, did not expect a history lesson, comprehensive overview of American geography, cities, or a documentation of important American sites. I took the title at face value and just wanted to see just the fun of seeing America in a way that II knew it would probably never be able to – just to spend my savings. At this point, more than America back well and is quiet. There are some great shots in the air, which would never be able to do otherwise.

You can, as a glorious 55 minutes sampler of American life, narrated by Tom Skerritt. The video moves from east to west, from New York City, went to PA, then DC, Chicago, across all our heart, da, CA, then ends up in Alaska and Hawaii. Thereperhaps they are profiled 15-20 city / regions. The choice of music may seem a bit 'dated and cliche. I felt the cool jazz of at least 3 cities (Chicago, Los Angeles and New York, with the requirement of New York, New York "). I think that is properly presented for the region, including Texas and New Mexico's Spanish guitar Honky Tonk . Other parts arranged music, or piano just softer. The story is not particularly exciting or informative but it sounds a bit 'as a tourist office or an infomercialPre-recorded tour, how could a government Visitor Information Center to find, as the Smithsonian and Ellis Island.

Night scenes are particularly problematic, with a heavy grain and noise in many shots. On the other hand, I loved the overflight of the American Heartland and the infinite expanses of agricultural land and ravines.

At the current low price, this is a good deal if you only want pleasure for the eyes. All sites are displayed with the name of the place with subtitles, so as to help then google or research. I think the price is right,and give me credit for that. This disk is probably best for those who do not travel to introduce the budget, the time or inclination, in this great country, or people, the majesty of the few places in America. It 'a good shot for shooting 20 years ago, but not a great example of Blu-ray.

I did this in a series of videos ( "Over" series) and this is one of the worst pieces of garbage I have ever seen. Let me explain. I was expecting, not necessarily a video of wildlife, but at least some nice pictures of natural wonders that this country has many (some may be surprised to know that, especially after I) of this video. The first 30 to 40 minutes is nothing but firing the city, New York, Chicago, etc., why would someone who can see through me. America has some of the ugliestWorld cities. Acount in all the beautiful wonders of nature have given them to show us put it this shit is totally incomprehensible. Yes, the late show some photos of the Grand Canyon (more in fact), but in all it was shit. I threw it in the trash where it belongs.

If you are looking for something to get your new HDTV and Blu-Ray, this might be of interest.

The movie is "old" – have attacked at least from the time before the World Trade Center in 2001. The photograph is usually good, as the title. The picture quality is quite good, especially when you consider that these materials HD soon. No matter what I do, the image is easily accessible from the top of my Samsung 46 "LCD fell to the ground.

The story is silly and often wrong.

I have this thought in the car, I just want to play in the background while I read a book, but I saw them every second. I could not tear his eyes off the screen! Maybe I was just in the mood for this kind of virtual adventure. It 'was probably a form of escapism. I forgot where I was and enjoyed trips to faraway places, which were worth a visit.

As segments of the train, I felt as if I were on those trains. Sometimes I was glad that I have some of themI was alarmed because the bridges and along extremely high. Excellent for photography! I've never been to Alaska and had no idea how good it was. I knew that most of the other parks and have visited, but not from the perspective indicated on this DVD.

I wanted to see all the train enthusiasts in my family.

Have the "train" for the finished piece, I thought to solve something to eat and leave it in the cabin and a hotel part of the DVD continues,because it seems a bit boring. It was not. I had to go back and start all over again in this section and every second of it looked. Some of the hotels received lasted 3 hours of driving mules, and others could be reached only by boat trips along. A hotel that overlooks is Old Faithful, and the interior, was worthy of a novel, written on it.

If this DVD is an example of the scenic national parks DVD, I have more of them!

Nice synopsis of each trip – CeeJay –
I have 79 years for my father for a Christmas gift, and he really enjoyed it. He is one of the trips, so it was very fun for him to see the train again. I would like every trip was a little 'meatier' and allows more time to see the inside of the train, view, etc. But overall it was a nice little show and gave me some good ideas for possible future trips.

This film is exactly what I ordered: the classic movie Grinch, which I used to watch on television as a girl. The packaging is standard rate for DVD, I had to wade too much fanfare, before I had the DVD menu, and the film itself was neither more nor less than what I expected. Will not be carried over, but you will not be disappointed. It 'exactly what you're thinking what you mean.

This continues the tradition of excellence with the BBC nature documentaries, interesting information, very high production standards and fascinating images of the first media narrative of class.

There are three concerts in the mini-series and each is worth seeing. Manage to show more of sea turtles and iguanas – also raise the avian fauna of the island pretty well, even a little accurate documentation 'hunting through the swamp about owls. Very informativefor the drift and the history of the Galapagos Islands and the flora and fauna. I wish it would be more in detail the impact of the route introduced plants and animals, and I wish they would shoot another episode in the value of content. It would be nice to find an in depth look to recover the difference between the older and younger islands – the animals are only differences from the large islands younger temps, etc. There are some differences – shows a lot more varied topographythe larger islands, which means a greater diversity of life, but more would have been nice.
However, look at a great introduction to the Galapagos, and very pleasant.

While its title may be superfluous, Galapagos: The Islands That Changed the World is a beautifully filmed journey into “the islands of the tortoise.” Located due west of Ecuador, the Galapagos islands are full of gorgeous scenery and exotic wildlife. And this 150-minute documentary shows it all, thanks to stunning cinematography shot from all viewpoints–the air, sea and, of course, land. The collection is both soothing and exhilarating as it allows viewers to peek in on mating albatrosses (which are monogamous), penguins fishing, and surprisingly graceful giant tortoises swimming in the ocean. The filmmakers also manage to capture a ferocious volcanic eruption that is amazing in its clarity. The problem with many documentaries lies in the narration. A documentary filmmaker hits the jackpot when he is able to get someone like Sigourney Weaver, whose crisp narration fits in beautifully with the sweeping footage in Planet Earth. While Tilda Swanton lends a relaxing quality to Galapagos, her voice at times is a bit too lulling to hold the viewer’s interest. The writing also borders on melodramatic, with talk of the simmering sea and such. With visuals as stunning as this, hyperbole is unnecessary. Charles Darwin has described the Galapagos as a world within itself, and it is said that the islands were one of his inspirations for his book The Origin of Species. While the film doesn’t clearly explain why the Galapagos are unlike any other place on earth, it does showcase a destination that is unlike what most of us know. –Jae-Ha Kim

Although I have no doubt that the content is excellent, I was not able to play on my DVD player. Requires an HD DVD player. It will not play on a standard DVD player, when you update the firmware. I do not think that on a Blu Ray disc play is. I tried to video game systems, as well as my new laptop, but failed to put it into execution. I plan to reorganize this in regular DVD format.

Like the other reviews I found this feature to be wonderful. The movie is really amazing and if you like nature documentaries then this should be added to your collection. The story is an eloquent and informative. The history of the Galapagos Islands is a fascinating life – together with the species there. One of the best features out there.

First, I like Clint Eastwood. The association of him with a hairy orangutan friend Clyde, as his co-star, while supplementing his income, a bare knuckle fighter is unlikely to say the least, but it works well in this fun film. Pursuing his lover Sondra Locke, who does some nerds WIMP abandoned by some of the most beautiful countries in the Rocky Mountain West for some big announcements on Blu-ray.
Complications in the form of an embarrassment for the course in mountain biking, andSheriff's deputies were sent to hit with all the offers of Clint and even in a case of Clyde's just right jab.

Ruth Gordon, who "plays Ma" is invaluable as a "defense old lady to her left itself, when Clint and his friends leave to hunt Locke. It turns out to be as helpless as a SWAT team, if bothered by inept biker gear.

Good film, funny and super easy for Blu Ray.

Clint Eastwood’s 1978 comedy introduces Filo Beddoe, a truck driver and mechanic whose daily life is an absurd grind. How can you get it wrong? Clint Eastwood, Clyde, and a variety of unique and entertaining supporting characters make this step a treasure. Good sense of humor running shoulder to shoulder with Three Stooges classic physical comedy, a script that shoulder as hard as it is on a dime – Fun for everyone! The transfer is very good) (especially for a film of this age, and the sound is more than acceptable. Recommended.

I was out of town society in my home for over a week, and she said that she had not seen Clint Eastwood's any way, but in a relaxed manner, I decided to order and pay for expedited shipping (2 days delivery), I Ditto paid for it and never received. But I got back my shipping address ($ 5.19). Society and Amazon seems that this is satifactory. She closed with me, is not always the product or refund the product. It was only reimbursed for the shipping charges (ExpeditedShipping as low as $ 5.19) I am very sad and unfortunate, because I never had a problem with Amazon and had always raved how great I thought they were. If you do not stand behind their customers, are not worthy of our praise and loyalty anymore. I hope that everyone will know.

I do not know how I missed this movie. This is a wonderful reflection on race, family, responsibility and honesty. The acting is superb, and finally, when particularly happy for those who find themselves in a situation that refers to one in which the hero finds himself, is very useful.

To come to the end and be able to sit down with a family that welcomes you eat – which, not what is the Eucharist? What all men until they sing as obsessive, if the annualSamples of Thanksgiving and other holidays?

When I was young, I had to help my parents, to update the books of pictures of children in foster care. Each state has had a great collector. And in every picture of hundreds, thousands of young children, particularly African-Americans. The images were removed when they become 18 years. I still remember their faces, especially the brothers who have not been separated.

Antwone was one who did, and found by, thoughemotionally and physically tortured, a sort of peace and adult life. This film encourage us to return to children who have left everything behind him. Children do not deserve the bad ways to treat them. Deserve to have held her hand, her face, stomach full, and return their love.

The expectations and the situation of African-American children is not a "black" problem. This is a national, systemic problem, racist and classist. DenzelWashington has done what he could to a movie, life, as is clearly on the radar ever make. Going to do the same –

The title is also the name of this fine drama’s first-time screenwriter, a former Navy seaman who was working as a film-studio security guard when his life-inspired script was developed as Denzel Washington’s directorial debut.
